Robert C. Bryant - Where The Buffalo Roam
Robert C. Bryant
Director / DP / Product Specialist
Robert Bryant is an award winning Director/DP originally from San Francisco California.
He graduated with a bachelor's degree in fine art from the University of California at Davis and after a wonderfully strange and unique series of events he has found his place in the wonderfully strange and unique world of commercial directing. In addition to televisions, computer monitors, smart phones, tablets, magazines and billboards his work can also be found in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art - which makes him particularly happy because of the whole art school thing.

He’s been called a tabletop director, however, he personally likes to use the term “product specialist”. Some of his favorite tools are Phantom high-speed cameras, special fx rigging, the speakerphone feature on his cell phone and his Arri macro lenses that he used to call his “babies” until his son was born. He has worked domestically and internationally for clients such as Nike, Microsoft, Proctor & Gamble, Whirlpool and Budweiser.
He has ridiculously talented and passionate crews on both the East and West coasts and things he would prefer not to go without are family, friends and making stuff every single day. After years of shooting his clients products he decided to create his own and his furniture designs are currently available in showrooms in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
He’s currently finishing a documentary about the best little fireworks store in America and getting ready to shoot another one about donuts. Once or twice a year you’ll find him riding among a pack of vintage scooter nerds with a really goofy smile on his face.
